How We Review

Every review on this site follows the same process, so you know exactly what our verdict is based on.

1. We start with the facts

We read the product’s official website, ordering pages, terms, shipping and return policies, and any instructions or specifications the company publishes. We note the real price, including bundles, shipping charges and any subscription or auto-ship options.

2. We look at what buyers say

We read customer feedback from independent places where possible, such as retailer reviews, the Better Business Bureau, Trustpilot and public forums. We look for patterns, both good and bad, instead of cherry-picking one glowing or one angry review.

3. We check the claims

If a product makes a health, beauty or performance claim, we look for what supports it and say plainly when the evidence is thin. We avoid repeating claims we cannot back up.

4. We tell you who it is for, and who should skip it

Every review includes pros, cons, and a clear verdict, including when a cheaper or better alternative makes more sense.

Research-based vs. hands-on

Most of our reviews are research-based: we have not personally used the product, and each of those reviews says so near the top. If we ever buy and test a product ourselves, the review will say exactly that, with our own photos.

Keeping reviews current

Prices, offers and policies change. Each review shows the date it was last checked. If a product is discontinued or no longer available, we mark the review and point you to alternatives.
