CupStation Review (2026): Is the 2-in-1 Car Cup Holder Expander Worth It?

How we reviewed this: this is a research-based review. We did not buy or test the product ourselves. We checked the official website, policies and independent customer feedback, and every fact below links to its source. Facts checked 2026-10-31. Quick verdict

The Dual CupStation is a simple, legit fix for a car with too few or too small cup holders. The base drops into one of your existing cup holders, and a second holder on top swings 360 degrees and opens up to 6 inches wide, so one holder becomes two and the top one takes big water bottles and fast-food cups. It is made by Limitless Innovations, an Illinois company with an A+ from the BBB.

The honest part: the base is narrow (2.5 inches), so in some cars it rocks unless the foam pads fit just right, and the brand itself warns that heavy bottles can bend the swivel joint. If your problem is only one oversized bottle, a tapered cup-holder-friendly bottle may solve it with no adapter at all.

    Pros

    • ✓ Turns one cup holder into two
    • ✓ Top holder opens from about 2.9 to 6 inches for big bottles and cups
    • ✓ Swivels 360 degrees, so you can move it out of the way
    • ✓ Partner page price ($24.99) is $5 under the brand store and Walmart
    • ✓ Maker has a BBB A+ and 14 years in business

    Cons

    • ✗ Narrow base can wobble in some cars, even with foam pads
    • ✗ Brand warns heavy bottles can bend the joint
    • ✗ Bottom holder is only 2 inches wide inside
    • ✗ Warranty excludes liquid, food and heat damage
    • ✗ You pay return shipping

    What is the Dual CupStation?

It is a black ABS plastic cup holder adapter made by Limitless Innovations, Inc. of McHenry, Illinois, the same company behind ChargeHub chargers, JumpSmart jump starters and TikiTunes speakers. The manual says it is made in China.

Dual CupStation car cup holder expander in a car center console (official product image)
The Dual CupStation sitting in a factory cup holder (official product image).
    • How it fits: you set the base in an existing cup holder. If it is loose, you stick on some of the 16 included foam pads (each 1/8 inch thick) until it is snug.
    • Top holder: adjustable arms open from 2.875 to 6 inches, wide enough for most big water bottles, XL soda cups and many mugs.
    • Bottom holder: about 2 inches across inside. The brand says it holds a standard 16 oz water bottle but admits some bottles will not fit.
    • Weight: Office Depot lists a 4 lb capacity. For heavy bottles, the brand says to keep the top holder lined up over the base, because heavy items “may cause the Rotation Joint” to bend or break.
    • Uses: the brand says cars, SUVs, trucks, boats, golf carts and RVs. There is no phone slot; the holders can carry a phone, keys or sunglasses.

There is also a Dual CupStation Pro ($39.99 on the brand store) with a dial that expands the base and dial-controlled arms. If your cup holders are wide or oddly shaped, the Pro’s expanding base may fit better than foam pads.

    Does it work?

We found no lab test or car-magazine review of the CupStation. The Gadgeteer posted a short, positive write-up in 2021 noting that you can swing it aside and still use the original holder. Beyond that, the evidence is buyer reviews.

    • Walmart: about 4.2 out of 5 from roughly 61 ratings, sold by Limitless Innovations. Some of those reviews were collected through a promotion.
    • What buyers like: big bottles and fast-food cups finally fit, and you get a second holder without losing the first.
    • What buyers complain about: the base rocking in factory holders, not fitting some cars (one buyer named a BMW X4 and 5 Series), and the top holder feeling flimsy with a large, full drink.

Bottom line: it works well when the base fits your holder snugly. Check the inside width of your car’s cup holder first; anything much wider than 2.5 inches will need the foam pads, and very wide or oval holders may do better with the Pro.

    Returns, warranty and fine print

    • Returns: 30 days from delivery, in the original packaging and undamaged. “You are responsible for paying the shipping and handling to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.”
    • Holiday purchases: the product page says November and December orders can be returned through January 31.
    • Warranty: 1 year against defects. You pay to ship it to a repair center, and the replacement may be refurbished.
    • What the warranty excludes: damage from “contact with liquid,” “extreme heat, or food.” That is everyday life for a cup holder in a hot car, so treat the warranty as limited.
    • Partner page badges: the offer page shows “95% positive,” “Best Gift 2021” and “Saves Lives” badges. We could not find any source for them, and the brand’s own awards page lists no award for the CupStation. Its 30-day return promise matches the brand’s policy.

    Is CupStation legit?

Yes. Limitless Innovations, Inc. started in 2012 in McHenry, Illinois and is family-owned. The BBB rates it A+ (not accredited) with 2 complaints in 3 years, and it has sold through QVC for over ten years. We found no CupStation recall in the CPSC database and no FTC action or class action against the company.

Two cautions: cupstation.com is a parked page, not the brand, so buy from the brand store, the partner page or a known retailer. And many “CupStation review” sites you will find are ads written to sell it, not real tests.

    What real buyers say

Limitless Innovations has 4.3 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 252 reviews (72% five-star, 13% one-star), covering all of its products, and it has not replied to negative reviews there recently. The CupStation-specific rating is Walmart’s, about 4.2 out of 5. We found no Reddit threads about it.

A good fit if: your car has too few cup holders, you carry a big bottle plus a coffee, or your favorite bottle is too wide for the factory holder.

Skip it if: your cup holders are much wider than 2.5 inches or oval (look at the Pro), you mostly carry very heavy 64 oz jugs, or a tall holder near your gear shifter would get in the way.

    FAQ

Does the CupStation fit any cup holder?

The base is 2.5 inches wide and comes with 16 foam pads to fill out looser holders. Narrower holders will not take it, and very wide or oval ones may wobble. The Pro model has an expanding base.

Will my Stanley or Hydro Flask fit?

The top holder’s arms open from about 2.9 to 6 inches, which covers most large bottles. For heavy, full bottles, keep the top holder lined up over the base.

How much weight can it hold?

Office Depot lists 4 lb. The brand warns that heavy bottles can bend the swivel joint.

    Why does it wobble?

The base is narrower than many factory holders. Adding foam pads until it is snug is the brand’s fix, and the most common buyer complaint is wobble when it is not snug.

What is the difference between CupStation and CupStation Pro?

The Pro ($39.99) adds a dial-expanding base and dial-controlled arms. The standard model ($29.99 retail) relies on foam pads.

    How much does CupStation cost?

$24.99 on the partner page we link to and $29.99 on the brand store and at Walmart on 2026-10-31.

    What is the return policy?

30 days from delivery in the original packaging. You pay return shipping. There is a 1-year warranty on defects that excludes liquid, food and heat damage.

    Is Limitless Innovations legit?

Yes. It is an Illinois company founded in 2012 with an A+ BBB rating and a long history selling on QVC.

    Quick verdict

TikiTunes is a fun, legit product that does exactly one thing well: it makes a patio, deck or campsite feel cozy. It is a small Bluetooth speaker shaped like a tiki torch head, with a flickering LED “flame” inside. There is no fire or fuel, it pairs easily with your phone, and two can play in stereo. The maker, Limitless Innovations, has an A+ from the BBB and has sold through QVC for over ten years.

The honest part: it is a mood light first and a speaker second. Every independent reviewer we found said the sound is fine for background music but not loud, with little bass. RTINGS called it “muddy.” If you want a speaker for a real party, spend the money on a better speaker and add cheap solar torch lights.

    Pros

    • ✓ Realistic flickering flame look; no real fire or fuel
    • ✓ Easy Bluetooth pairing; two units can play in stereo
    • ✓ Rated IP65 for dust and water spray
    • ✓ Same $39.99 price as the brand store, with cheaper multi-packs
    • ✓ Company has a BBB A+ and 14 years in business

    Cons

    • ✗ Modest volume and weak bass; not a party speaker
    • ✗ Battery claims vary from 6 to 9 hours on the brand’s own pages
    • ✗ Warranty excludes water and rain damage despite the outdoor pitch
    • ✗ Charging-port flap can be hard to seal
    • ✗ You pay return shipping

    What is TikiTunes?

TikiTunes is made by Limitless Innovations, Inc., an Illinois company founded in 2012. The original model is the one most reviewers tested and the one the partner offer page appears to sell.

TikiTunes Bluetooth speaker with flickering LED flame light (official product image)
The original TikiTunes with its flickering LED flame (official product image).
    • Speaker: 5 watts, Bluetooth 5.0, about 30 feet of range.
    • Battery: 2000 mAh. The brand’s spec table says 9 hours, its own FAQ says “over 6 hours,” CNN Underscored got a little over 6, and Today.com got about 9.
    • Water: rated IP65, meaning dust-tight and protected from water spray. Do not submerge it.
    • Light: the flame flickers whether or not music is playing, so it also works as a lamp. You cannot change its color.
    • Stereo: two original TikiTunes can pair for stereo, but not more than two.
    • Charging: the brand’s spec table lists micro-USB, while a newer brand photo shows a USB-C port, so check the box when it arrives.
    • Size: about 4 x 4 x 6.5 inches and 14 ounces, with a threaded base for an optional 40-inch pole and ground stake.

There is also a TikiTunes Pro ($49.99 on the brand store): 10 watts, a bigger battery, USB-C, three light modes and syncing with many Pro speakers. We found no independent test of the Pro, so its specs are the brand’s claims.

    How does it sound?

    • RTINGS (lab test, March 2021): “very uneven, muddy sound profile,” lacks low bass, does not get very loud, and a single unit plays stereo music in mono. It liked the design.
    • Today.com (updated September 2026, tested on a deck): 3.83 out of 5 overall and 3.5 for sound, with “limited bass.” Best as an ambient speaker.
    • CNN Underscored (July 2020): easy setup and a “solid speaker,” but the charging-port cover “doesn’t stay in place.”
    • Serious Insights (February 2021, sample from the brand): 4.7, good sound and easy stereo pairing, “nice to have, not a must-have.”

Bottom line: fine for background music on a quiet evening. If sound quality matters most, a similarly priced speaker like the Anker Soundcore 2 is a better listen, though it has no light.

    Is TikiTunes legit?

Yes. Limitless Innovations, Inc. started in 2012 in McHenry, Illinois, is family-owned, made the 2024 Inc. 5000 list, and also sells ChargeHub chargers and JumpSmart jump starters. The BBB rates it A+ (not accredited) with 2 complaints in 3 years. We found no TikiTunes recall; the only “tiki” recalls we found were for real-flame torches, which this LED speaker avoids.

Two cautions: tikitunes.com is not the brand’s website, so buy from the brand store or a known retailer. And the TikiTunes Pro page’s “Testimonials” section shows reviews of a car jump starter, not the speaker.

At Best Buy, the TikiTunes bundle averages 4.2 from 31 reviews, but every one of those reviewers received a promotion or sweepstakes entry.

What buyers like: the lifelike flame, easy pairing, and good-enough sound for background music.

What buyers complain about: not loud enough and weak bass, battery shorter than claimed, some dead units or lights, only two original units can pair, a flimsy ground stake, and paying for return shipping.

    FAQ

    Is TikiTunes waterproof?

It is rated IP65, which means dust-tight and protected from water spray, not waterproof. Do not submerge it, and note the warranty excludes water and rain damage.

How long does the TikiTunes battery last?

The brand says 9 hours in its specs and “over 6 hours” in its FAQ. Reviewers measured about 6 to 9 hours.

    How does TikiTunes sound?

Fine for background music. Independent reviewers say it is not very loud and has little bass.

    Can I pair two TikiTunes?

Yes, two original TikiTunes can play in stereo. The Pro model can sync with more Pro speakers.

Does the flame light work without music?

Yes. The flickering light works on its own, so it can be used as a lamp.

    How much does TikiTunes cost?

$39.99 for one on 2026-10-30, both on the brand store and the partner page we link to. Multi-packs drop the price to about $25 to $33 each.

Moonbuddy Review (2026): Can a Breathing Buddy Help Kids Calm Down and Sleep?

How we reviewed this: this is a research-based review. We did not buy or test the product ourselves. We checked the official website, policies and independent customer feedback, and every fact below links to its source. Facts checked 2026-10-30. How we review · Affiliate disclosure: we may earn a commission if you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.

    Quick verdict

Moonbuddy is a legit, thoughtfully made calm-down tool for kids, and parents who own one mostly love it. It is a small, egg-shaped device in a soft bird or bear sleeve. Its belly slowly swells and shrinks, and your child breathes in as it grows and out as it shrinks. There is no screen, no app, no Bluetooth and no subscription. It won Engadget’s Best of CES 2025 and made TIME’s Best Inventions 2025 list.

The honest part: there is no published study of Moonbuddy itself. Slow breathing has some research support in children, and pediatric groups recommend adding deep breathing to bedtime. But an independent 2026 trial of Moonbird’s adult device found it did no better than an app or no exercise at all; what mattered was how often people practiced. Think of Moonbuddy as a cute way to make a free habit stick, not a treatment.

    Pros

    • ✓ Screen-free and app-free, with one button kids can work themselves
    • ✓ Soft, toy-like design that kids actually reach for
    • ✓ No subscription; auto-off after each session
    • ✓ Engadget Best of CES 2025 and TIME Best Inventions 2025
    • ✓ Maker Moonbird has 4.7 stars on Trustpilot and a 2-year warranty

    Cons

    • ✗ No study of Moonbuddy itself
    • ✗ Pricey for a simple device, as several reviewers noted
    • ✗ The motor makes a soft “snoring” sound some find noticeable
    • ✗ Official specs disagree on session length, rhythms and age range
    • ✗ Only one sleeve, uses its own magnetic charger

What is Moonbuddy and how does it work?

Moonbuddy comes from Moonbird BV, the Antwerp, Belgium company behind the adult Moonbird breathing device. It launched at CES in January 2025.

Child holding Moonbuddy breathing buddy in its blue bird sleeve (official product image)
Moonbuddy in its bird sleeve; the white belly expands and contracts (official product image).
    • How kids use it: press the one button on the back, hold it, and breathe in as the belly expands and out as it contracts. It stops by itself when the session ends.
    • Four rhythms: each shown by a colored light, ranging from about 6 to 10.5 breaths a minute. Moonbird’s own pages list slightly different rhythm details, so do not count on exact numbers.
    • Session length: the product page says 6 minutes; the help center says 4.
    • Age: the terms of sale say ages 5 and up with parent supervision; the help center says it is designed for 6 to 12.
    • Battery: built-in rechargeable, about 120 minutes per charge (roughly 20 sessions), with a magnetic charging cable.
    • In the box: the device, one silicone sleeve (bird or bear), the charging cable and a printed manual. Clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap.

    Does Moonbuddy actually work?

    • Slow breathing has some support in kids. A 2021 review found that slow-breathing biofeedback can reduce symptoms and improve well-being in children and teens, as an add-on to other help. In a 2022 school study, children aged 7 to 11 who learned slow breathing showed higher heart rate variability, a marker of relaxation.
    • Doctors suggest it for bedtime. The American Academy of Pediatrics’ HealthyChildren.org says to “try incorporating deep breathing into your children’s daily bedtime routine,” and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia recommends belly breathing for sleep.
    • The strongest sleep evidence is for something bigger. For kids with real insomnia, a 2018 analysis found cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia improved how fast they fell asleep. Breathing on its own has not been tested that way.
    • The device itself is untested. We found no published study of Moonbuddy. Its “busy brains” page cites “a published real-world study” without naming it, and the only trace we found is a company pilot of 60 children described as “under review.”
    • The adult version did not beat free options. In an independent 2026 University of Antwerp trial of 62 adults, the Moonbird device did no better than the app alone or no breathing exercise. People who practiced more often did better, whatever group they were in.

Bottom line: Moonbuddy’s real value is making breathing practice feel like a toy, so kids do it on their own. If that gets your child practicing every night, it can be worth it. Moonbird itself says Moonbuddy is “a consumer product, not a medical device.” If your child has ongoing sleep trouble, anxiety or ADHD, talk with your pediatrician.

    • Warranty: 2 years against defects.

    Is Moonbuddy legit?

Yes. Moonbird BV is registered in Belgium (since August 2019) and was founded by siblings Stefanie Broes, a pharmaceutical sciences PhD, and Michael Broes. It has sold the adult Moonbird for years. There is no US company or BBB profile, and we found no recall, FTC action or class action, based on web searches.

A few things to know: Moonbird’s pages list names like the NHS, Mayo Clinic and the American Academy of Pediatrics next to Moonbuddy, but those groups recommend breathing exercises, not this device. Several “Moonbuddy review” pages online are paid press releases with affiliate links, not independent reviews.

What real parents and reviewers say

Moonbird has 4.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 955 reviews, though that score covers all its products. Searching Moonbuddy reviews there turned up 16 on the first page: 15 five-star and 1 four-star. One reviewer of the adult device said the company offered a free charger for posting a review.

    • Engadget (January 2025, CES first look): cute, toy-like and screen-free, but “pricey,” and the reviewer wished sleeves were sold separately.
    • Mother.ly (updated February 2026, tested with the writer’s son, who has ADHD): he reaches for it on his own, the motor is quiet and there is no app; but “the price is a little high for the simplicity of the device” and it “isn’t a silver bullet.”
    • Bright.nl (September 2026): simple and screen-free, but the motor was clearly audible in a quiet room, it is hard to tell which rhythm is on, and it uses a proprietary charger.

    FAQ

    Does Moonbuddy really work?

Slow breathing has some research support in children, and pediatric groups recommend it at bedtime. There is no published study of Moonbuddy itself, so it works best as a fun way to build a breathing habit.

    Is Moonbuddy a medical device?

No. Moonbird calls it a consumer product, not a medical device, and says it is not meant to diagnose or treat any condition.

    What age is Moonbuddy for?

Moonbird’s terms say ages 5 and up with parent supervision. Its help center says it is designed for ages 6 to 12.

Does Moonbuddy need an app or Wi-Fi?

No. It has no app, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. One button turns it on and switches between four breathing rhythms.

    How much does Moonbuddy cost?

Memorygram Review (2026): Is the Legacy Book Worth It for Your Family’s Stories?

How we reviewed this: this is a research-based review. We did not buy or test the product ourselves. We checked the official website, policies and independent customer feedback, and every fact below links to its source. Facts checked 2026-10-30. How we review · Affiliate disclosure: we may earn a commission if you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.

    Quick verdict

Memorygram is a legit, well-reviewed way to turn a loved one’s life stories into a keepsake book. Each week your storyteller gets one question by email, text or an automated phone call, even on a landline, and their answers become a full-color 8.5 x 11 inch hardcover with photos and QR codes that play their voice. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and the company has a BBB A rating and 4.4 stars on Trustpilot.

Before you buy, know three things: printed books cannot be returned, extras like a digital copy or more copies add up quickly, and some buyers find the online editor clunky. For a parent or grandparent who would rather talk than type, it is one of the better options we looked at.

    Pros

    • ✓ Storytellers can answer by phone, even a landline, by just talking
    • ✓ Large 8.5 x 11 inch full-color hardcover, up to about 450 pages, with photos
    • ✓ QR codes in the book play the storyteller’s own voice
    • ✓ One-time purchase, not a yearly subscription
    • ✓ BBB A rating and accredited; 4.4 on Trustpilot

    Cons

    • ✗ Printed books cannot be returned (defects are replaced)
    • ✗ Add-ons cost extra: digital copy, extra storytellers, extra copies
    • ✗ Some buyers say the editor and layout tools are clunky
    • ✗ Phone interviews are automated and only work with U.S. numbers
    • ✗ A few reviewers say they were pressured to change negative reviews

    How Memorygram works

    1. You buy the book as a gift (or for yourself), enter the storyteller’s name, email and phone, and pick when the invitation arrives.
    2. Each week the storyteller gets one question. You or they can pick from a question library or write your own.
    3. They answer by email, text, online, or by talking to the automated phone interviewer. Most answers take 5 to 15 minutes, up to 30.
    4. You (and invited family) can edit the transcripts, add photos and arrange the stories.
    5. When you are ready, you preview a PDF, choose a cover, approve the proof, and the book is printed.

Most families finish in about 6 to 8 months, which works out to around 60 questions with photos. One important detail: once you approve the proof, Memorygram is not responsible for errors in it, including mistakes in AI-transcribed text. Read every page before you approve.

Higher “editions” (Premium, Professional, Collector’s) exist, but their upgrade prices are not published. FamilyDial, a separate add-on, is an auto-renewing subscription. Refund policy and fine print

    • Refunds: within 30 days of purchase, but only if no books have been printed.
    • Printed books: custom-made and not returnable. Defective books are replaced.
    • Older orders: until early 2026 the window was only 7 days, which caused several refund complaints.
    • Proof approval: you are responsible for errors in the proof you approve.
    • Disputes: mandatory arbitration, with an opt-out.

    Is Memorygram legit?

Yes. Memorygram, Inc. is based in Austin, Texas, and has been BBB accredited since November 2025 with an A rating, 14 complaints in 3 years, and BBB customer reviews averaging 4.43. Its own history is a little fuzzy: BBB lists a 2017 start date while a 2022 interview says it began operating in 2021, and founders are named differently on different pages. None of that suggests a scam, but it is worth knowing.

    What real buyers say

Memorygram has 4.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 178 reviews (75% five-star, 10% one-star), and the company replies to most negative reviews.

What buyers like: how easy it is for elderly storytellers, especially the phone option, the finished book, and kind, human customer service.

What buyers complain about: a clunky editor and layout tool, missed or out-of-order phone prompts, denied refunds under the old 7-day policy, and costs that were not clear upfront. Three Trustpilot reviewers also said the company pushed them to change or remove negative reviews, which the company disputes in at least one case.

Storyworth is cheaper to start, but Memorygram’s larger full-color book and phone interviews are its main advantages for storytellers who will not use a computer.

Who should buy it, and who should skip it

A great fit if: you want to capture a parent’s or grandparent’s stories, they are more comfortable talking on the phone than typing, and you are willing to spend time editing before printing.

Skip it if: you need a gift with an easy return, your storyteller lives outside the U.S. and wants phone interviews, or you want the lowest price (Storyworth starts lower).
